Olympics
The Olympics are a series of games originally proposed and organized by emrekn, and in modern times a structured Olympic Committee. The main idea of the event is to have the participating settlements build their own minigames for their part of the Olympics, and towns and individuals may send teams to compete at the games. These games are then played with one participant from each group over a number of days and locations across the server.
Main Events
These events are the traditional team-based annual Olympic games. These events see multiple teams compete across multiple days in many events.
The UltraVanilla Olympics #1
The First Olympic Games were a major server event that took place on the weekend of 2 and 3 May 2020. Southern Hollow was the official host of this event and held the closing ceremony and fireworks show, however events took place throughout many towns on the server.

The UltraVanilla Olympics #2
The second Olympics took place over the weekend of 6 and 7 March 2021 across both old and new world towns. For the first time, an Olympic torch relay happened in the week before the games, visiting almost all towns and locations on the server.
The games were officially opened in Æopa and closed in Alliance City.

The UltraVanilla Olympics #3
Main Article: Olympics III
The third Olympics was the first to use a 3-day format, with the opening ceremony and first event being held on a Friday. The games this time around featured towns from the Old Spawn, Spawn, and Outpost regions. For the first time, the games were won by an individual contestant rather than a town-based team.
The games were officially opened in Cara Nova and closed in Cyprus.

The UltraVanilla Olympics #4

Featuring the return of the Olympic torch that toured the Voyager Bells, The Fourth Olympics were the first to be opened and closed in the same location, Rotherhythe. The games featured seven brand new games and several more with format twists.

The UltraVanilla Olympics #5
Main article: Olympics V
The fifth Olympics was the first to have a two ties in a single event, between Solitude and Illyria for 1st, and Team Object Fools and Southern Hollow for 2nd. It was also the game in the Olympic series with the least contestants, only being 6 teams, which may have contributed to the multiple way tie.
The games were officially opened on Saturday June 29th, 2024 in Solitude and closed on June 30th 2024 in Valhalla.

Spinoff Events
These events are changes to the traditional format that take place in other parts of the year. These can range from small changes to the format.
Olympic All-Stars
Main article: Olympic All-Stars
All-Stars was a spinoff to the Olympics with some changes to the traditional format. The games used were a selection of classic games from each previous edition of the Olympics, with three games from the three events, and one game that featured in all events. In addition, all games were played individually and the usual town teams were not permitted. For the first time, a system of V.A.R (Video Assisted Referee's) was introduced to counter cheating in events.

Duolympics

The Duolympics was a spinoff of the Olympics with some changes to the traditional format. The games this time all focus around players being on teams of two. Featuring, for the first time, new games in an Olympic Spinoff event. The event consisted of a total of 6 duos. This saw the introduction of two brand new games, Boat Archery in Waterthorn and Kit PvP in Rotherhythe, with Strider Relay being a twist on Strider Racing from Olympics III, and Connect 4 being relocated to Solitude.
