The Third edition of the UltraVanilla Olympic games took place between the 15th and 17th of April 2022. Opening in Cara Nova and Closing in Cyprus.
The Overall champion was SvenskaHugo.
These Olympics followed a point system as follows: 1st place = 3pts. 2nd place = 2pts. 3rd place = 1pt. 4th+ = 0 pts.
Results & Calendar
This Olympics was made up of mostly new games, including: Competitive Farming, Strider Race, High Diving, Curling, Speed Skating, When Pigs Fly and PvP Bow game. With Boat Racing returning in a new setting, Slap off gaining a new rendition, and Ice Hockey being played in it's new home at Rotherhythe for the first time.
The events of the Third Olympic Games
Day 1 - Opening Ceremony - Cara Nova
The Opening Ceremony took place in Cara Nova at the venue for Competitive Farming. Overseen by Lord_Jord on behalf of Cara, Joethahobo as the reigning champion, and Beeper as the Organiser of that years event.
Jord would launch a missile that revealed a special sky high emblem to mark the beginning of the Athletes parade.
Day 1 - Competitive Farming - Cara Nova
Competitive Farming was a new sport by 2 rounds where players farm crops and resources. After 15 minutes, players are entitled to fight and loot their competition. During round 1, teams were put into doubles. The top 3 would proceed to the single player round in round 2.
Day 2 - Strider Race - Evergreen
Strider racing was a new sport run on 2 heats. Players would ride striders around a course in groups of 5. The top 2 players from both heats would enter the final race for medal placement.
Day 2 - Ice Hockey - Rotherhythe
Ice Hockey was a returning sport from the 2nd UV Olympics in 2021. This tournament was the first played in its new home at Rotherhythe Keep. This sport was played in a bracket structure with Best of 1 rules for the qualifiers and Best of 3 for the Semis and Finals. The final matches involve a playoff for Gold and Silver and a play off for Bronze between the semi final players that do not proceed to the gold final.
Day 2 - High Diving - Fort Dunbar
A new sport involving 3 dropper maps with 5 chances per player per stage. The longest sport in the Olympics, taking a total 2 hours to complete.

Day 2 - Curling - Alliance City
A new sport where players punch armour stands along an ice rink and into a target. Played in a bracket structure with 3 stands per side.
Day 2 - Speed Skating - Alliance City
A new sport involving an ice bound obstacle course surrounding the arena for curling. Players would skate around an obstacle course against eachother in a race to see who could complete two laps first
Day 3 - When Pigs Fly - Steamed Hams
A new sport where players fly up platforms to the top with Elytra. Players are able to use one rocket per jump. There is a timer with each player getting 3 goes. Their best time will win. A death from fall damage will result in a fail and the run won't be counted.

Day 3 - Boat Race - Cloud City
A returning sport in a new location, Players would race boats around the streets of Cloud City on a circuit for 3 laps. The first player to cross the finish line would take gold. Shortcuts were added in numerous places to create strategy as high risk-high reward plays

A returning sport, Slap off involves players being dropped in an arena in Naval Detroit. Armed with nothing but their fist, players are tasked with being the last one standing. Players can craft tools using scraps found in the arena. This game is jokingly labelled as "Mystery Game"
- an error in scoring resulted in Rotherhythe Keep's placement not being counted. The full olympic result counted Rotherhythe Keep as eliminated, and therefore all other placements on the total are raised by 1.
Day 3 - PVP Bow Game - Cyprus
A standard Combat game in a large arena, players are given matching loadouts and tasked with climbing a bracket structure through 1 v 1 PVP Tournaments.

Day 3 - Closing Ceremony - Cyprus
The Closing Ceremony in Cyprus was the last part of Olympics III. The medal winners were crowned and given their prizes at the Cyprus arena before a firework show closed out the Olympic Games
