Purpose of this page
This page is written in a way to give detailed information to those looking for a good server, but who are specific about plugins, either requiring a specific plugin or trying to avoid a specific plugin or feature. We believe that UV is vanilla enough that most people won't have their gameplay impacted, but this page is here if you want to make absolutely sure.
Our general theme for including plugins is "minimal enhancements to the core game"
UltraVanilla Custom Plugins & Configuration
We have our own code for implementing chat and a few quality of life features. Some of these features make the game easier, such as home teleports and keep-inventory. Almost all of them can be ignored if you don't like them.
These plugins are written by lordpipe and Akoot_.
Significant vanilla differences

- KeepInventory is turned on by default. You can turn it off with
/keepinv off. Use at your own risk - We are not a teleport-free server,
/sethomewith no cooldown is meant to make gameplay easier. - Husks have a chance of dropping sand, so that sand production can be automated. This also makes it so husks can spawn underground.
Teleport commands

/msg(or/w) - Send someone a message. Works the same as vanilla./r- Reply to the last message sent to you. Be careful when using this command./me- Send a message, but as an action. Works the same as vanilla./afk- Indicate you are AFK in chat and in tab menu/namecolor- Change your name color to a specific hex code. Must be loyalist or above/nick- Changes your username in chat. Cosmetic only feature for veterans and donators./whois- Determine someone's real username/playtime- Check someone's total play time/seen first,/seen last- Check when someone joined and last visited- Not available on UV: Group chats & friends system. Misc

/die- Suicide command/sign edit- Lets you use sign formatting./chunkversion- Determine what version a chunk was generated in. In some cases, this command actually tells you what version a chunk is equivalent to, i.e. generates exactly the same. This is part of our custom-made "CavesCliffsClassifier" plugin.- Terracotta Screwdriver - use a brick to rotate rotatable blocks. It is not possible to create invalid block states with this. This is part of our custom-made "TerracottaScrewdriver" plugin.
- Endermen block pickups are nerfed, and dragons cannot break blocks in the end. This is part of our custom-made "LessEntropy" plugin, which is intended to reduce the most annoying sources of damage to builds.
/hat- Put an item on your head. Cosmetic only feature for veterans and donators.- Teleporter signs for oldspawn and outpost. Only used at spawn.
/lorecommand so that staff can create unique prizes (player heads and named items) for events. Ask staff if you wish to have lore prizes for your event.
LuckPerms

This is a simple permissions management plugin. There are no user-accessible commands associated with this, so it is transparent to most people. All of the ranks have the exact same gameplay features.
As for non-gameplay features, there is a progression of customization for username colors as you get the automatic timed ranks. Additionally, donators and veterans (very old players) have the cosmetic-only /hat and /nick commands.
- Not available on UV: Donator ranks that make the game easier or help you get ahead. Everyone gets the same gameplay features, we hate pay-to-win.
ArmorStandTools

Lets you edit the pose of an armor stand with /astools. We have our own build of the plugin that blocks the use of named armor stands, which could otherwise be used to spam floating text everywhere.

Brewery

Lets you brew extra alcoholic potions. Mostly just for fun, but it does give easier access to certain potion effects than how it would be in vanilla. Read the wiki for this plugin.
Chairs

Right click stairs to sit on them.
DiscordSRV

Forwards chat to a Discord channel.
DropHeads
[ Estimated vanilla purism gameplay impact: Low ]
This adds charged creeper explosion head drops for all of the passive and hostile mobs.
- Not available on UV: Drops for player heads. This only applies to mobs.
Dynmap

This plugin powers our website and provides an overview map of the entire world. It makes looking for specific biomes and structures easier.

FoundDiamonds

When you mine diamonds or ancient debris, this shows it in chat. Keeps the xrayers afraid.
PhantomSMP

This plugin makes it so phantoms only target the player that spawned them, and disappear when they try to target a player that has slept.
GeyserMC
[ Estimated vanilla purism gameplay impact: Very Low ]
Allows connecting with bedrock edition. Super buggy, not recommended but available anyways.
ViaVersion

Allows connecting with old Minecraft versions. Only installed when important clientside mods are not available.
Ender Eye Target Changer

We have retro-generated strongholds for spawn and outpost, so this plugin is used to make it so eyes of ender work on these strongholds.
CoreProtect

Administrative, used for repairing griefs and checking for item theft. Staff are trained to avoid abusing this tool, including accidental item duping that may impact survival purism.
Spark

Administrative, used for checking sources of lag.
OpenInv

Administrative, used by staff to check the contents of players inventories. Staff are trained to avoid abusing this tool.
WorldEdit

Administrative, used for repairing griefs. Rarely used. Staff are trained to avoid abusing this tool.
SuperVanish
