Information

Collector is a custom role that requires a player to obtain and display every type of mob head obtainable in survival with the DropHeads plugin by killing them with charged creepers. The role is held by ECstardust, who completed the challenge on June 27, 2023.

Rules

All heads must be obtained naturally, not bought or traded for
All mobs with a unique ID that are available in survival count for the challenge
Mob variants (such as cats or tropical fish variants) do not count for the challenge
All heads must be displayed in a way that they can be verified
Any mobs added in upcoming game updates will count towards the challenge once the server updates

Strategy

Developing strategies to capture and contain one of each mob is vital for the challenge. Some mobs will be easy whilst some will require much travelling, setup, containment and difficulty in killing with a charged creeper.

A good charged creeper setup is also essential. When a storm occurs the player needs to be ready to quickly produce a number of charged creepers ready to kill mobs. In theory, a fully automatic version of this would be possible by linking a creeper farm to a lightning rod chamber.
