Talk:Players
I've added guidelines for editing user pages, based on some of the discussion in #timeline, and the general moderation strategy of UV. I think it's important to get this right, because there was already a user page edited in a way that does not live up to this spirit.
Guidelines for editing other people's user pages |
We're not going all-in on Wikipedia-style biographies of living people guidelines, but to keep drama to a minimum:
If something was revealed about you that you wish to keep private, you can ask the wiki admins to help erase the history on the page. |

"Other Players" section
As I have mentioned before I do not think players without a created user page should be listed, especially not those without even an account on the wiki. This is for the following reasons:
1). It would be near impossible to list every single player who has ever joined the server, so this list will always seem arbitrary and missing content
2). Many players will not want their usernames posted on a public wiki due to privacy and data protection reasons.
3). Having a list of player names without clickable links or information provides very of little historical value to the wiki.
I would suggest this is remove. Having a section for users who have signed up to the wiki but do not have user pages is certainly something to be discussed though.
